If you were wondering I chose Avast because that is what I use.

I use Norton 360.
I have it setup as 2 layers, first it my router with no firewall for gaming with my xbox, but for the computers i run a bridge with 2x Norton 360 running thru it all. The bridge actually picks up some things and i also use it as storage, so its an added bonus i guess.

I used to use AVG <Bad antivirus.. It doesn't really detect anything except for fake alert. Anyways, I'm using Avira, its a great antivir.
