I decided to make a list of programs that you might want to have on your computer which is running Windows 7. I've categorized them for easier navigation to find a program that will fulfill your needs. All of these programs i have listed are freeware, but some may be only trial-versions for a certain amount of days until the program will prompt you to purchase the full product or the program stays in un-usable state.

You can add Smart Defrag, iobit uninstallers, and game booster. Three useful programs that I use.

IObit toolbox has them all, that's why they are left out of this ^_^
 
Hey J4mmy. Its a good thread you have maked here, maby you also could add a program, "filehippo". It tells you when your programs, need to be updated. (;

I believe you meant Filehippo Update Checker as Filehippo alone is just a freeware sharing site

Well. No, but you should properly have Firefox. Because, if you are using "Internet explorer". And you are going on a site with virus. Then it wont block it. If you are using Google Crome, and you download something, it could be "Hack, Keyloggers... e.t.c." Then they can see what you are downloading.

Firefox, have something that they can add addons.

I fail to see your point. The idea is to have a list of useful programs that can enhance your performance, stability and enjoyment whilst using the Windows 7 operating system. Security of your computer is another field which I'll probably make a thread about very soon.

J4mmy, I have nearly forgotten all about this program. It is called "Core Temp".

Core Temp is a compact, no fuss, small footprint, yet powerful program to monitor processor temperature and other vital information.
 
tune-up is what i use on my lappy and it helps out so much. sped things right up
 
Nice list man, I have a lots of these programs already. I like how to categorized them though.
