+1 Repping

Hi,

So I don't know if this has been suggested before, but if not then I think it would be a great idea.

My thought is that donors to the site (not Onyx or Power, I'm talking about the people that just donate $10 or more), should receive the ability to rep by +1. This is an incentive to donate, and it's also a great way of saying thank you to people. As it's only +1 it doesn't affect Onyx or Power, but it still provides a reason for people to donate.

It could also work in a system where +1's can be bought for $10 each (or a similar price). For example, a Power member wants to be able to rep more than +10, they can simply send $10 over to Philly and receive an extra +1.

I think it would be a great way to generate revenue for the site, whilst still giving something back to the users.

I actually like the sound of that idea. I'd pay the money for the extra reputation ability. And I know that if you're in a usergroup, that you can give +/- 1s.

I like the idea of Donator's to be able to give +/- 1 rep.

For all the new FK kids on here that's the way it used to be a while back, there used to only be 2 main groups which were Donator and Onyx, donators were able to give +1/-1 reputation while Onyx members could give +5/-5.

This has been removed? In the past there was actually a full user group for donators. Try received the ability to rep as well as a green username and userbar. If the rep ability has been removed I agree it should be returned.
