Things not to make it: a posting contest(promotes spamming @"RAF" and low quality posts), a programming contest(a to few people know how to program). I think a good idea since this was hacked you should make it a spreading method contest. The person who comes up with the best method to spread a phisher, RAT, keylogger, JDB and such.

I don't think that the contest should consist of a certain skill, some people don't have gfx skills, programming skills, etc. I think you should make it a contest of all skills, may sounds a bit gay but maybe something like a RuneGear's got talent :L. Have 3 non-biased judges.

It also makes it so whoever checks the forum the most has the best percentage to win, also Carbon would most likely get bored unless he watches a movie or sumthing like that, I myself would go with pick a number kinda thing, and use random.org or whatever.

It would be completely fair and would give everyone an equal chance, so I agree with you, seems lame and unoriginal but it's probably the only fair thing to do.
