Hello all, I'm rather new here but have been on various forums for years and moderated sites for a total of 2-3 years, and had about 3-6 months of ownership/ admin of my own site. I couldn't help but notice a few, very little, things I think could be implemented to make the forum a little easier to navigate and (hopefully) cut down on reports for silly things like a thread being posted in the wrong forum.
Anyway lets get down to the ideas themselves.
1.)
Currently the way the marketplace is set up we have a "xbox" "Gamertags" and "non virtual" forums among others. For the most part the Xbox forum (http://www.forumkorner.com/forum-89.html) is full of gamertags for sale, WTB threads, and threads seeking the owner of "XYZ" gamertag. Obviously any actual xboxs, controllers, games, etc. would go in non virtual. (http://www.forumkorner.com/forum-32.html) So could we simply this and make just an "Xbox gamertags" Forum with "WTB/ who owns this" in one subforum, and gamertags for sale in another subforum? I just think we could do away with the actual "xbox" forum, because if your not selling a non virtual item (xboxs, controllers, headsets, HDD, etc.) what else would you be selling besides a gamertag? (game codes already have a subforum)
For example, currently the way the forum is set up like this
-XBOX (main forum)
-Gamertags (Subforum)
What I'm suggesting would look like this
-Xbox Gamertags (main forum)
-WTB/ who owns "x"? (sub forum)
2.) Currently the way the Smokers Lounge is mainly filled with Vape/ E-cig posts and "Other" drug posts, and we also have a subforum exclusively for marijuana. Now this isn't a hugely active area of the forum or else I would suggest everything just gets split into its own sub forum.
I'm suggesting we change the marijuana subforum to just a general "drug" sub forum OR
that we ban the discussion of drugs besides marijuana, alcohol, tobacco, legal prescriptions, and anything else legal that people get "high" off. (i.e LSD, shrooms, cocaine, etc.) and leave the forum as is. It's not really that these "other" drug topics are hurting the smokers lounge, it's more that they are out of place since a lot of them aren't even smoked, which pushes legitimate smoking threads father down the list.

-Marijuana (sub forum)
My suggestion would look sort of like this
