5-10 posts to be able to post in the marketplace?

I am considering making it to where you have to post 5 or possibly 10 times in order to post in any of the marketplace sections. I am only considering this because all sections besides the marketplace have been fairly inactive lately. I would really like to see people posting in all the sections, and not just the marketplace. Let me know what you think or perhaps other suggestions you have that could possibly encourage members to post in other sections as well.

Yeah I agree. However it is already 10 posts to send a private message so it would make since to make it 10 posts as well. But Idk... This would also decrease flamers, scammers, and evaders. Considering LQ people like that wouldn't take the time to make the posts in order to post. Only people that are really looking to sale, or looking to buy.

I think this is a great idea. The Marketplace has been overloaded lately and this would be a great idea to get other sections involved.

Good idea ive seen some crazy requirments before this one forum had like a 250-300 posts requirement to post in the marketplace.

That is a bit too much. But since the marketplace is the only place new members seem to post it will get new members hopefully active in other sections.

yea sounds good, it was a drastic example. would you ever make it so like a certain group of people have a premium section like HF does?
