A World Plagued by Humans

I don't know how many of you realize it, but the society we live in is fucked up. We have people eating like kings, but yet there are still people digging through trashcans hoping to find even a mere scrap of food. We have people living in mansions, but yet people sleeping on the benches of public parks. We destroy nature and tear down the habitats of innocent animals and don't think twice when we do it. Why? Why cant everyone see how terrible that really is? Planet earth is infected by humans, not anything else. And I'm not afraid to say that I am ashamed to be apart of the human race. The day we eliminate both poverty and inequality and find a way to strive without cost of harming our planet, is the day I will be proud to be a human.

What are your thoughts on this?

I agree with everything you have said. We live in a system that is virtually Egyptian where most of the people are on the bottom as slaves and work hard to go up a social class even though it is impossible to ever reach the top. With each layer of social classification getting smaller in quantity no one will ever be able to pass the pharaoh and the layer underneath him. But i am not saying that we need to lose all of our livelihood to help people under us. If they fuck up in there lives they should be held accountable for their mistakes. I come from New York a place ridden with homelessness and druggies so if i see a crackhead i wont give him/her 5 dollars ill help him/her get back on his feet by giving him/her the resources needed to do so. Library's, rehab centers etc. something that they have to do to better themselves so we can see that they are putting in effort. This is the mentality of Andrew Carnegie a person who was extremely powerful during the industrail revolution. and although I don't agree with a lot of the other things he has done, considering he was a Robber Barron i took these words of his to heart.

I agree but hey nothing we can do. Might as well become one of those people "on top", and enjoy life. While out great great grandchildren go through a lot shit trying to fix the damage we've done.
