Ability to close your threads - Upgraded Users

I think it would be better if you could close your own threads if you are an upgraded member. It's much easier than having to PM a moderator to do it for you.

When I wanted one of my threads to close, I simply deleted it. As an upgraded member I think you're able to do that, on the full edit page of editing your thread, you have the option to delete it I believe.

Either that, or add an option in the report button to close a thread.

I can program with PHP and I would be willing to work on one, but with the current expansion of the website, I'll be very busy working with the code for the development.

I have just updated it so you'll have to wait until it's approved to be able to download it.

You can allow certain groups to close their own threads and even re-open them if you wish. It's very similar to Labrocca's (button added next to new reply button if allowed to see close/open threads).

Hum, you pointed out something I forgot. When a usergroup is allowed to re-open a closed thread, it is able to open it even if it wasn't closed by OP (in other words, if staff close your thread, you can re-open it) which isn't good.

I'll update it, when I get it a chance to, so you can only open the self closed threads.

Yeah sounds good, but as a few people have said, it's not urgent, just highly convenient.

If you need it closed, staff gets to it pretty quick.

If Elite Can find a plugin then sure it's usefull but if he has to code one off the bat it's not worth the time as we close stuff quickly.
