Abortion

I'm pro-choice in almost all things. Abortion should be the choice of the people involved, and most anti-abortion arguments only consider the religious implications of the act, rather than the real reasons that people may consider aborting their foetus.

I think abortion should be illegal. I personally think it's stupid for people to do that to a human being. If they had the courage to have a baby why do they have to get it aborted. That usually only happens to the young people. In my opinion, I think it's stupid and it should be illegal.

I would say it depends on the situation. If the person was forced to have the baby, such as Rape. Then I would say they have the right to have an abortion, but say if they did it because they were careless. Then I would say they shouldn't have an abortion. Either way, I think it solely depends on the situation, and the one's who are actually involved.

I believe it should be legal. Who are we to tell women what the can/can't do with their bodies? It is their baby, so it should be their choice. Most people against abortion do not know what it is like to be a pregnant teenager, who made one bad choice, that has to work, go to school and take care of a baby everyday. Abortion would save a lot of women from a turbulent life.

What if a girl just has sex with multiple guys and just keeps having abortions? Then what? Killing innocent life.

I believe that every situation is different, and nobody has the right to tell someone else if they can or can't have an abortion. It should be up to the person who is involved in the situation.

You bastard that's what I was going to say.

OT: There's absolutely no reason why it is anyone's business other than the individuals involved in the situation, therefore, everyone outside the situation has absolutely no say in what happens to the fetus.

tl;dr Entirely up to the woman.

That's a very rare case. Who are you to decide if shekels the baby or not? It's not your body.

I believe it should be legal for the following, simple, reasons:

1. It's not your child.
2. It's not your body.
3. It's not your life.

agreed 100%.
those are the facts, point blank - and any attempted argument made against said facts are imbecilic and irrelevant.

Challenge accepted.

1. Its not your body
2. Its not your child
3. Its not your life

This can be applied to anything. For example, If I want to train my child to be a serial killer, many would be opposed to that. According to you, any argument made against these facts are imbecilic and irrelevant. So I can just make that claim, and do whatever the fuck I want. Training my child to be a serial killer would take the lives of others, just as abortion does. But its okay, because its not your body, child or life.

There are lots of obvious flaws in your logic. Next.

Responding to your logic, if you train your child to be a serial killer, you'd be training him to kill other people, correct? Abortion involves only the people having the child. At least it should. Now, if your child kills say twenty innocent people, that effects twenty different families and X number of relatives and friends. Abortion only effects the people involved. So, yes, it's your child and your life. But, the consequences of him/her being a serial killer effects many other people.

that's pretty much what i was agreeing with but i had to type out a quick response due to something else occupying my attention.

to the guy who responded to my comment (i only quickly glanced at your comment, not your username rofl, my apologies): the FACTS remain the same despite your flawed logic and moral standing -

- babies develop in stages, aka trimesters. a zygote CANNOT feel pain since it's simply a clump of cells in the very beginning stages of human development; therefore simply removing these cells (which is what the majority of abortions actually end up being - those shock videos/photos you see on the internet of fully developed fetuses being ripped out of a woman's uterus are ridiculously inaccurate) doesn't count as murder since cells =/= a living, breathing human being.

- abortions are illegal to perform on a FEDERAL LEVEL after the FIRST trimester. the potential baby isn't nearly developed enough yet to be considered a person; which may sound "cruel" but if you think about it, cells die all the time without us feeling anything or even being aware of it happening.

- i'm not a woman and neither are you (i'm simply assuming, correct me if i'm wrong) therefore we do NOT possess the moral grounding to create laws that FORCE women to make decisions they cannot bear the burden of the consequences/live with. isn't that just one step towards a dictatorship? deciding what permanent MEDICAL decisions roughly half the citizens of this country have to make? that's pretty much oppression and taking away the rights of women as people.

- if Roe Vs. Wade was ever overturned and abortion made illegal in all circumstances, the rate of abortions wouldn't go down - the rate of deaths in women who were pregnant and tried to abort the potential babies themselves would rise. research the mortality rate of pregnant women performing home abortions before Roe Vs. Wade was instated, you'll find that i'm correct.

and now i have to leave again so i hope i've remembered everything i was going to say -__-
