Ok, it seems everytime I win an account or someone gives me one they get locked. I try to recover them and it never works. I even have my own recoveries and e-mail hooked onto the account...

How can I keep these accounts. ( I have lost 3 accounts so far)

Since account sharing is against Jagex rules, that's why it gets locked. If they even sense the account being given away, it will be locked.
If someone gives away an account for free, do not expect to keep it for long.
 
It kind of pisses me off how they are so "strict" on the matter. I really am just going to start quitting contests and giveaways with accounts. I don't understand the rule with no account sharing though.

yes jagex is stupidly strict on account sharing but if an account is givin it isn't always locked. i have gotten various accounts from people that were never locked.
 
Well I'm not sure if it's me registering an email and adding recoveries as soon as I get them?
 
Really? My mate and I share an account and have for like the last 3 years? Never been locked/shit.

It depends on location. If the account was created in China and you sign into it in the US it's going to get locked.
