Add a new form of contact?

I was wondering if it would be possible to add "Kik" as a method of contact under the users Profile. This would be an easier way to contact other users on the site. And no one would be dumb enough to deal off site on Kik. I would like to hear everyone else's thoughts on this. For those if you who do not know, Kik is very similar to AIM.

It would be possible, yes. I know a lot of members do use Kik, Whatsapp, Viber and whatever. It's not a suggestion actually since it's a heavily used application for most smart phones. Also not hard to implement as well.

That would be something to talk to @Philly about. He is the owner and all the ideas that you have would have to go through him. I don't think this is a bad idea to throw some more ways of contact, but then again, all contact should be made through the site itself anyway. So it is a double-edged sword
