The report feature should have an optional field for the reporter to explain exactly why they're reporting the post.
Choosing "other" seems pointless if we're not able to give further information, and it's highly likely the crew member who checks on the report won't fully understand why the post was reported and will ignore it.
Meh, it's not really needed. I don't think it's hard at all to determine why something was reported. Also, we hardly get any "Other" reports. The one you just reported was the first in a while, and it was quite obvious (a spam post) why it was reported. If we include that, then there's no point having the list of reasons also, which I thinks better.
The post I reported was from a bot, which I would have explained in the report.
It was blatantly a bot (or a manual spammer) since it had the same structure of all the other spammed threads we've been seeing lately: random, obscure hyper-links spread around a block of text.
I suppose it could be done like once you click "Other" you get that white box where you type your reason. But it's not visible unless you click other, else everyone would start doing that, and the whole reasons for reports would be useless.
