So I made a quick advertisement banner. I know, I screwed up on the times a bit, so I'll fix that later.

Please don't tell me to make it transparent unless you want to look like an idiot.
.gifs cannot be transparent.


EDIT - fixed the time sequence

Of course I only did part of it real quick and it's choppy but .gifs can be transparent.

As I said I did it really fast (literally 40 seconds) and it's choppy.
If I actually put time into it I could make it look nice.

.gifs can be transparent

Gifs are always transparent.. you don't have to match any background

I like alot it but the font looks kind of, I don't know...... gay?

Actually, only the "A" looks gay.

GIF's can certainly be transparent. i don't know where your getting your information from, but it's wrong.

That's not proving anything.
If you can prove I'll stop, alright?
Showing a 40 second edit on my animation and making it look choppy isn't enough to convince me.

I hope you guys realize by .Gifs I mean animations since the banner is animated. It was intended.

Dude, if I had access to my mum's external harddrives I'd so prove you wrong. She has like 25k moving images, 90% transparent.

Here, I'll prove to you that a .gif can be transparent.
Look at the following image, and tell me what you see.
You don't see anything, because it's transparent.
Now look at the url: http://www.somethinkelse.com/newsletter01/images/transparent.gif
.gif, It's a .gif and it's transparent.

Is that enough proof for you?
