You make it sound as though you gave me all that for free, I PAID for it all. You got rid of all advertising, fair enough it's your forum do what you want. The thing that annoys people is you didn't announce anything.Philly said:You already have a paid banner ad, and you complain about more, excessive free advertising... Come on dude... Do you want me coming on your forum and doing nothing but advertising? Doubt it..
there wasn't a warning for this?Hobbs said:You make it sound as though you gave me all that for free, I PAID for it all. You got rid of all advertising, fair enough it's your forum do what you want. The thing that annoys people is you didn't announce anything.
The fact was you could of announced it instead of just banning peoples sig permissions, but cool. Thanks for taking the time to reply to this in a timely manner.
Not that I know of. Other people have just had it suspended. I actually had my posting suspended, although this turned out to be an error.Darth Vader said:there wasn't a warning for this?

Fear announced it, why would I need to...Hobbs said:You make it sound as though you gave me all that for free, I PAID for it all. You got rid of all advertising, fair enough it's your forum do what you want. The thing that annoys people is you didn't announce anything.
Also, when I paid for my award and stickies you said yourself it was perfectly fine for me to advertise that in my sig - that is the reason I actually paid you for those things. It's gone from me having an award thread to it being merged away in the Website section and now I can't even advertise what I paid for, but whatever. I guess I'll spend more wisely from now on.

It's a one week sig ban, it's not big of a deal. If you think about how long you have been here compared to just one week, that is a breeze and very miniscule. It's purely to prove a point and get it out there that I don't want anyone advertising anymore unless it is in the website showcase or paid advertising.tattoo said:I agree that you do give him the privilege of advertising although I think some sort of announcement should have been made before users were punished.

I have done absolutely nothing, of that sort, I don't even ban people these days. Get your facts straight, peace...tattoo said:Still , they shouldn't be punished at all for something they had no idea about. And from what I am hearing you perm banned some users signatures.

That is none of my concern take that up with the mod that issued the sig ban, it was not me and it is their choice how harsh to punish. I would assume he warned and then the user probably advertised again to issue the perm but as I said I know less than you do I guarantee it. I do not moderate, I keep the site online.tattoo said:Re-read what I wrote please. I said perm banned their signatures, not the users.
Clearly wasn't a proper announcement as no one else seems to have saw it.Philly said:Fear announced it, why would I need to...
