I realize that it is prohibited to make a suggestion that proposes a revision of the rules. However, there is one rule in particular that is listed but is either not being enforced, or it is null and it is still listed.

•Signatures. You cannot have more than 1 image, and you are not allowed to have an oversized signature. Advertising in your signature is also disallowed.

Many members have signatures that advertise websites and other forums.

I'm just wondering what the status of this rule is, so members can know what is really allowed and disallowed, and to better fix up any discrepancies within the help docs.

If the rule is void, then it should be removed.

Now I'm not trying to call out certain members for advertising(@Random) because I could really care less, I'm just wondering what the status of this rule is, so members can know what is really allowed and disallowed, and to better fix up any discrepancies within the help docs.

my signature space was purchased by another member. and he has the rights to advertise that in my signature, I've even chatted with staff about it.

please remove me from the op, as I don't take to kindly to being made an example.
