Afraid of the dark.

I'm afraid of the dark. My thoughts when in the presence of darkness seem to get the best of me and my imagination runs wild. This isn't a 24/7 thing but I do often get mad chills when I walk even down a dark hallway, as to taking trash cans out at night. I have a very vivid imagination and when in creepy places, it does me no good. I can't say I'm ashamed of it, either. But I am wondering if any of you have/do feel/felt the same way.

I just walked down the hall to the kitchen to get a burger and I imagined crazy alien screeching noises outside my window. Instant chills. GAH.
