My mother got sentenced to 8 1/2 Years in the Jessup Women's Prison.
She got put away for Distribution, Possession, Forgery, etc.
Here we are in 2015, and my Ma is finally made parole. We didn't expect this as a close family that we are
and it really made a impact on my younger brother & sisters and I. Especially at a young age, Since she's been locked up
I haven't went and seen her once. When I was younger I went to see my dad a few times in prison and it wasn't where I wanted
to see my Father, Let alone my Mother!
On a Great note, She is getting released on April 2nd, and I can't wait to see my beautiful mother after 5 whole years.
We talk on the phone everyday but it still will not be the same as seeing her!
This is a big part of my life to be completely honest. I can't wait for her to see her Gorgeous Grandaughter!
Congrats man, i always hated when i'd be in juvi and not being able to see family.
Can't even think how you felt bro.
All i can say is good for you bro!
I never hear of stories like these, but I wish I did because they are always so refreshing. I believe your mom will step up to the plate and be the woman that will always be there for you, your brother and sisters, and her grandchild. Best of luck!
I don't really share personal things but this was something I felt the need to share. As my ma is very open about her past wrongs and has learned lots over the past few years.
It was a fight and a HUGE struggle, but just staying positive is the key!
