After-life?

What are your opinions, I was walking around with some friends the other day, we were going into town, and this just came into my mind, what will be in the after-line, what do people think it will be?

Opinion - Either, we can roam around in our current world or/and have a life in another world, what if there is no heaven/hell?

What do you think about this topic in general?

RE: Afterlife?

We are just a big group of cells that are aware of existence. We live and then die. Our brain may stay active after we die, and time is not an issue in your dreams so you may dream for a long long time. My thoughts, of course nobody knows for sure

Easiest thing to believe would be the heaven or hell. Hopefully this thread doesn't become a debate on religion...

Actually, that's one of the hardest things to believe in.

There is most likely no afterlife, and don't let this topic become bothersome to you. Ignore it and live your life.

Nobody really knows what the after-life will bring. Everything said is just predictions and hypotheses that will most likely never be solved. It is too troublesome to worry and spend so much time contemplating what might happen after death. Just life your life now, and don't worry about what happens after you're dead.

I'm not looking for an actual answer? I'm asking for a debate, on what people think will happen?

He's not looking for actual answers because none exist, he's looking for other user's philosophies on the topic. Settle down, buddy.

it wouldnt bother me ive just seen so many debates over religion on the internet. But, to be honest i see it easier to believe if you do good you'll be rewarded for it. It takes more faith to be an atheist than someone who believes in a god.

We are living shit, living shit dies. When living shit dies, we lose consciousness, and its all emptiness - well even more than that. It's just pure nothing.

I get kind of... I don't know, nervous? I guess. Cause I believe that there is heaven and hell. Then I start to think, what if there isn't, and it's kind of like the episode of SpondeBob SquarePants where they time travel, and Squidward gets stuck in the place of nothing, where's it's all white and he constantly hears the word "Hello" repeatedly. That's what I wonder, if it it'll be like that, just without the constant saying of "Hello".

Mind explaining to me why you believe in Heaven and Hell in detail, please? You don't have to. Just curious.

Isn't that limbo? Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think there is a limbo either. The idea doesn't make much sense. Why would someone have a consciousness in a place where there is nothing?

I don't know really, I'm catholic I guess, and yeah I'm pretty sure that's limbo.
