Why is the AK47 the only gun that is really talked about in rap songs.
The AK47 is always the most used gun or weapon reference in rap songs.
I haven't heard many white rappers use it. But i always hear is in used in black rappers songs.

Anyone else notice this lol?

I wouldn't say most popular. But it is one of the cheaper rifles.

The AK47 is one of the most 'illegally owned' rifles.

It's an easier gun to get your hands on.

Yeah, its the most popular rifle. As Jason said, it's also one of the most illegally owned rifles. So, of course rappers would be talking about it.
