Alerts?

I am not sure if this has being inquired about before or if it has been addressed and the owners are working on it.
My alerts function isn't really working when someone quotes me or replies to my threads?

If so its the same for me. I would love to get alerts rather than be checking a post every 2 mins.

I get what OP means. They are working (in the sense that it does tell you that you have an alert) but for me, it doesn't happen automatically like it should. I have to refresh the page for it to tell me i have an alert, which is a bummer.

That's always what happens. Alerts can't update without refreshing the page.

In fact, it can be easily altered so that they can auto refresh in the background, using ajax. There is a similar plugin lying around on MyBB mods site, but it doesnt have the functionality that the MyAlerts plugin does.

If you want this added, I suggest PMing Philly or a staff member. I don't see a need for it, though. The current system works fine.
