Yes I know the Alienware is expensive, but you do get much better specs, and tbh I only put the Alienware in the top 3 because its the only gaming laptop I would seriously consider buying. Because of that ive just put Half Decent business laptops as the other two.

If you would recommend a differnet laptop as the one you would go for then please let me know what it is.

It might have good specs, but the parts are cheap, the motherboard is made by FOXCONN, and frankly, people buy them because of their looks.

Both the Acer and the ASUS have a higher frequency processor than the Alienware by the way.

I good get a the quicker Processor bit i dont really need it.

I would also go for the AMD Processor but only because its cheaper. But I cant so I'm stuck with Intel

I would go with the alienware becaus it look great and it performes great (well depending on how much you want to spend on a custom build)

Im gonna make my mind up soon, but they just raised the price of the Alienware since I last saw it so im kinda on edge.

Deadly, do you have an Alienware machine? Because the specs look good, but in my experience they don't perform well at all.

No, i have an advent but if i did go out and buy a laptop i would get an anlienware

Just found out I can get the old cheaper price and the Value Added Tax off which is 20% in the UK, so £720

Although, ive really started doubted playing games in anymore, so there wouldnt be much point in even haing a gaming laptop.

Im going to wait nearer the time to decide.

Second one sounds good but it looks like you can get it for around £520 if you search google for a bit.
Id also prefer the 4GB Ram

Bleepy, I'm telling you, with my experience in repairing computers, stay away from these brands:

HP, Dell, Sony, and the like.

If you want a budget laptop with good performance, go with Acer, ASUS, or even Lenovo. I haven't had a problem with Toshibas, but there are some mixed feelings about them.

Im only having a discussion on what laptop people thought were the best. A friendly discussion.
If it was a life or death situation then yes Id say get pissed off, but its not.

I understand what you said about the budget components being made etc. And like I said ill be doing some research and looking at reviews.

You also have to understand with my choice of a more popular brand, Dell, that if someone were to go wrong then he chances are that they wouldnt hesistate in sending me out a replacement due to the fact that the make million of wonga. Where as other brands dont have as great income as other brands in which they will want to put more of a "fight" up when you say something is broken, and you need it replacing. Also , yes these big name brands have been around for years but how did they get popular if they were so unreliable.

I dont necessarily want a budget laptop, I have cash in my hand ready to buy it.

Also when I went to buy my monitor I opted for the much cheaper ASUS 23" but when I went to the shop my friend dad is the own of, he actually refused to let me order the monitor because they had 3 of the same monitor returned back to them the month before.

Toshiba probably werent making great laptops a few years ago due to the huge, we have no money any more, your fired, period.

I didn't say their monitors were good, their computers are great in my opinion.
