all time favorite anime?

For me it's naruto and bleach. I love the story of it and the way they were created. How about you what is your all time anime favorite?

I like most of the other anime listed in this thread too, but there are a few I haven't seen.
Akira - for the story line and animation
Superchop, have you read the Akira manga? It's a lot better than the anime in my opinon. It can be hard to find though, especially if you don't actually want to buy it. I had to go to 3 bookstores to read the whole thing.

It would be Deathnote, Dragon ball z and Lupin III. I will also add Naruto, Bleach, School Rumble and One Piece! These are the best!
