This is a thought provoking movie. It does show how a soldier can do their duty yet be haunted by what they did. This man did his service but was judged for it because of what was involved in doing that service. The irony of the whole thing is that here is someone who had a very dangerious job, and a very dangerous place. He comes home from the war zone to go back to his life, how does he meet his untimely fate? At that hands of a fellow solldier and someone he considered friend. Its one of those strange ironies of life, never did his family probably think they would lose him to such a senseless act, in a war zone yes but not like this. Just goes to show that life is quite unpredictable.
