Well as you can already see this is about Animal Cruelty and there will be a poll on it too. ill start it off by saying that i think that its wrong. this is why

1. Animals should have some rights they are our companions and shouldnt we treat them like our companions and not be mean to them just because they cant do anything.

2. it would be like taking/abusing a babie. just because they cant do anything doesnt mean you can do stuff to them.

3. tell me what you think.

Animal cruelty is 100% wrong, they're just like humans except they can't speak our language and in some case aren't our size.

Sounds like someone has watched ' the planet of the apes ' to much and is afraid of animals taking over our world.


I just realized that is true, our skin cells are called 'animal cells' not 'human cells'

We are animals, just the evolved version.

Sometimes we're not even that evolved, we murder, rape, suicide, terrorise, we do lots of things that are inhuman and wrong.

True and no i have never seen planet of the apes? but they are our pets and we should give them respect but i am saying that we dont need to be giving them money and stuff, exept for the apes that have been trained to use money.

a scientist trained a bunch of apes to see that money is a value and to use these coin looking things to buy there food so they knew they were worth something (the whole time training them away from the monkey community). and then he put money in the community cage and instantly one male monkey offered it too a female monkey for sex and after he gave it too her they consumated and she went and got food with it. crazy right?

So your saying every type of animal should be treated like humans? that includes bugs, reptiles, fish, etc.

Bugs are insect not animals. Animals should have rights to live and freedom.

Odd wording to this. I think everyone is against it but you need to define cruelty and what type of animals are we talking about? since we are technically animals.

Sigh Rainy. Some define the killing of animals for food as cruelty. Others as making them fight. Nice trolling though.

Disagree completely, being a pacifist I disagree with hurting humans (unless a justifiable reason of course, if an animal goes rampant and wounds someone I'd say put it down as I would a murderer)

I've actually recently lost a dog because it got outside and I live in a high traffic area and he got hit. Fucking guy didn't even stop, I was devastated. I can't imagine physically harming an animal intentionally.

As of rights I can't see the same rights simply because we can't communicate with them fully. If you give a cat a command odds are it's going to stare at you and proceed to lick itself (but don't get me wrong, I love my cat! I just don't see them having the same rights as humans, close but not quite.)

Dude I just watched planet of the apes, one sad ass movie. Animals should be respected, but of course that will never happen with everyone in the world. We can't control what everyone does to animals. I though am completely against animal cruelty, I swear if I saw someone hurting a helpless dog or cat I'll tackle them and tell them to stop. Even if I know I'll get my ass whooped. (I'm 14)
