And I mean there are alot of different anime and different genres, some are scary,  but it's like regular tv shows in that hou can watch the ones you like. Ypu really cant generalize the entirety of it

I think anime is a like a double edged book of knowledge. It'll either embrace you, or gut you out from the inside, causing you to despise it.

To be honest 80% of Anime is weird such as Ecchi Harems and stuff which are disgusting sexually themed Animes and alot of them contain swapped gender characters/bodies which is really fudged up to be honest.

Just stick to the Horror/Mystery Animes like I do and you won't have a phobia of Anime. I could even PM you some decent ones to keep you away from the horrible stuff if you'd like.
