I don't think banning guns will solve anything. There are plenty of other ways to kill someone. Plus things like drugs are illegal, yet, some people still are able to get it. I guess same thing would happen with guns. Banning guns also would make a lot of people lose their job as gun sellers, gun makers, etc.
People that are against guns and people that are for guns.

"Prohibitions don’t work when it comes to actual items that are fairly easy to get ahold of. And yes, a gun is easy to get – even “illegal” ones in our current system."
I have had this debate so many times with Adam. I feel like I should just go to those threads and copy and paste everything here. I have typed enough information on this subject to fill up 10 pages I think.
Guns should not be illegal to own. They should however be regulated (like they already are). However some states are more lenient than other states. I know here in Virginia, they go through back ground checks and such. I am not 21 yet so I can't own a handgun or even buy ammunition for it. But I can take a handgun (clip out and in case) with a box of unopened ammo to a shooting range. Since I am under 21, they don't let me leave with any ammo. I got to use it all up there, which is very easy to do. lol. That ammo goes away really quick. =p
