Any Classical music fans?

I absolutely love classical music and all of the complexities of music theory. Beethoven is my favorite — I want nothing more than to see the Ninth preformed live before I die. I find that many of my friends interested in Philosophy and Science also love classical music — almost as much as I do.

If you do as well, what are your favorite pieces, composers, etc.?

I like the sound of classical music, but I don't care much for the names of the composers.
My favorite is pretty mainstream, so I don't really talk much about it...

Allamande (From Suite in e-minor BWV 996), which was composed by Bach.

Most of the songs I know are from composers that most people know.
Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and Vivaldi.

Care for the names? Most of my favorites are by famous composers and are famous themselves as well. Pieces like Beethoven's 9th symphony, Tchaikovsky's 1st piano concerto, and Mozart's requiem mass.

I meant that if I'm just listening to random music, I don't really worry about who composed it or who's playing to the piece. If it sounds good, it sounds good.
