Technically- I think so.
I met someone who is much willing to help me with my writing (poor writing skills) and this person has given me inspiration and encouragement.
Offered some edition/revision of my writings ,helped me how to become an efficient writer.
Thinking of it now, technically, I don't think I had been taught by someone (one-on-one). I have attended some seminars and if you will consider that, then, I did have many people teaching me things about some technical things.

One of my friends is a software engineer. A few months back, he told me about the benefits of online business. I am really grateful to him as working at internet has added to my knowledge and earnings also.
I am a Stud Vet ! We deal with the Thoroughbreds which are used for racing purpose! As it is known to every body that these horses are expensive and they need a meticulous caring! So it is a common feature for us to call experts when ever we feel that our horses requires one! So we get many technical experts from all over the World and we keep on interacting with each other! Thus this feature is a common feature for me! Thanks !

I met an hardware engineer, while my system is with problem and i learn some thing from him. He is very friendly and teach me some good hard ware tips, i never forget his help in my life

I think this is all right he offered his help in editing and correction or punctuation. But do you think this proper help in teaching you about writing. For me the writing can not be taught, this comes from inside of a person and that is some thing else. May be a little bit of inspiration that matters.

Yes this can be considered some kind of assistance as this will come in handy for the rest of your life and you will never forget what you have learnt from him. Good for you. May be you can help others now. Great to know this.
I am not so sure about "highly technical field" - do you mean someone who is really great at one aspect or an expert over something? Well, I did meet someone who is good at graphics design and photography. So, he taught me a lot of stuff about those and I took his advise and little-by-little, I learned from him and even learning until now.
yes i met you and have found you to be of great help.when i was in college i had a senior friend who used to help me everywhere possible.we had a great relationship and am still in touch with him.he is a good friend of mine and even today if i have any problem,i feel free asking him as he always have time to sort out my problems.
I have a person who is highly qualified and is very helpful though is funny type and always looks and acts funny. But he is highly qualified and helps me indirectly, always and don't even want to take credit. I love him and think im as my father. That may be you.
