Anyone familiar with Parallels or Bootcamp?

I have been looking into putting a Windows version on my mac to run some software I need. However, I do not know if I should just do bootcamp and get the Windows version or should I buy Parallels since Parallels looks really easy to use? There is also something called CrossOver that I searched on google but I never really heard about that. Anyone have any experience with this that could help me out on which is better?

What I know is Bootcamp where you can install windows with your mac. I don't know about the parallels. Using bootcamp is easy, just follow the installation instruction included in your MAC OS X for bootcamp.

I want to know which is one is better to use? I found some free software too that does something similar to Parallels that I want to know about.

See: VirtualBox.

So far I have read reviews and they are pretty positive so I am going to start with VirtualBox and if I do not like it, go buy Parallels.

If the reviews are good then it might be a good source of software. With good reviews, it has been tested by Mac users and they were successful in dual boots.

That is the one problem with all the great Apple products out there. It's just because of the name, and people are spending that much on it.
