Appraisals. (Read)

I don't know who else agrees with me here, I think this section needs to have Moderators or some experienced people patrolling it at all times. I see to many replies to threads like: Appraise the IG "Imdrowning" (Example)

The first reply on the the thread will be:
"I THINK it COULD go for this price. Then straight after someone will see that and agree with their post, I mean can we actually get accurate appraisals? If I posted up that I was selling the GT "Devil", someone would post "Yeah, this is a sick tag. Could fetch upwards of $1000". The next post will be "This tag isn't even that good I couldn't see it going for more than this price. If this did happen, why give a stupid appraisal when you know whatever it is could actually in fact fetch a lot of money.

Anyone who posts up stupid names that actually don't mean anything and aren't an actual word, don't post and say it COULD get this much because in actual reality, it wouldn't.

If we had accurate appraisals our marketplace wouldn't be full of these "crappy" names so to speak, because of everyone giving inaccurate prices it's filling our marketplace with crap.

I just would like to suggest we have an experienced appraiser to moderate this section whether we make a group dedicated to being an appraiser or we actually have a forum moderator patrol it. Does anyone else agree?

Yeah, I agree. Maybe have a thread or a sub-section where people who know how to value items can post and give appraisals.

Or maybe a section where upgraded members could only post. I feel upgraded power members or like some special members could only post there it would make it dope

I know what you mean, but I can't say I agree. If this was the case it would be pointless to have the section at all, they could just PM that person moderating. It wouldn't make sense to have a mod tell you what you're allowed to appraise it at.

I agree to an extent, maybe some words like Hydroponics, that actually gave legitimate meanings are not in a few users vocabulary due to their age / location. So it is always good to have some others post. But also keep in mind the tag Josh per say would be worth a few hundred in a matts eyes but in a joshs eyes it would be worth 500+. Each tag has a different value to each person.

I agree, I need to be more active in the appraisal section, I think I am at least "semi accurate" and don't base my opinion/appraisal on the first post...

I agree with you 100%. I hope some new moderators are added for this purpose.
