Rune Gear is now holding it's 5th Forum Wide Competition in celebration of the successful merge with RuneRevolution. We have gained amazing members to the community, all who deserve a striving community full of people who accept each other and ensure everyone is fairly treated. To celebrate, we are giving a total of 100M RSGP for doing barely anything! This is a showcase to RuneRevolution members just how much we appreciate their patience and effort.

Members are just required to maintain reasonable activity and they will win. The total prize money will be split up in to the following amounts:

1st Place:
50M RSGP

2nd Place:
25M RSGP

3rd Place:
5x 5M RSGP (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th place)

4th Place:
5x RG Elite Upgrades (IF ALREADY RG ELITE, THIS ISN'T VALID) - (8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th place)

The competition is run simply. You get points for doing anything around the forum. You can see the point system on top of your registration date in the top right of the post bit.

NOTE: RG Elite members get 1.25 points for every 1 point a normal member gets, and Sponsors get 1.5 points for every 1 point a normal member gets. Therefore, if you're upgraded, you'll have an advantage now and in the next upcoming contests! To upgrade, click here.

The Points System:
Replying - 1 points
New Thread - 2.5 points
Per thread reply - 0.2 point
Per referral - 3 points

To get points, your replies must be at minimum 30 characters long. Some forums give 0 points for all actions to stop spam.

The competition ends on the 6th of November 2011, 6pm GMT+10.

Nice contest with an amazing prize, but really, a crackdown is needed. If members spam for the points they should be disqualified from the competition, believe me, there's plenty spamming the shit out of the forum in many places already.

Look guys, I am leading and I intend to keep it that way. Nah, I'm kidding. I won't try too hard, especially if people around me in the leaderboard are spamming shit to get where they're getting.

Agreed on the UK Moderator part. I want the competition to succeed and I will be participating but I just hope the right penalties are given to those breaking the rules and trying to illegitimately win.

Because there is a lot of people on at this time, and UK is a good, viable timezone for dealing with reports etc at this kind of time. Else, Oxide is at it all on his own, which is a little unfair on him, right?
