Are sex toys immoral?

yeah for the reasons.
1.Catholics believe that all sex is a sin, that is why priest are celibate. If all sex is a sin, then orgasms that don't produce children are extra sinful.
Each community should be able to ban what they want, and people should be able to vote with their feet. If San Fransisco wants to ban gay jokes, and Salt Lake to Ban Sex toys, lets see which city does better over the next 1,000 years. You can't just ask if sex toys should be banned, without some sort of context. If 98% of people think that something should be banned, then democracy says to let them ban it. The real issue is if sex toys are bad or not.

Well for me not believing in god.
Is sex toy's not immoral it's a other way of having plessure.
And also priest may be celibate but they molest little altar boy's.
so if sex is a sin or not, childs have to be made somehow, and having fun doing it is just... normal.

It is right for us to have please upon something, even with sex toys. It is immoral if someone has used it on public. You have the right but you have to meet a limitation also. Example of limitation would be displaying/using it only at homes, keeping it on a secret place.

I am a catholic. Let me politely say that we don't believe that all sex is a sin. Sex in my own concept is a sacred thing practiced by couples blessed by God under the sacrament of matrimony. Now sex outside of this blessing is the one which is sinful. These include, premarital sex, extramarital sex and promiscuous sex and also incest if I may add, are those that I believe is sinful. Regarding priests being celibate, here is my piece. Celibacy practiced by priests is a vow they is made to dedicate all their full time to the church and its people. They are not allowed to marry so they should not be sexually involved. That is a vocation. How they keep up with their sacred vow is their personal and spiritual challenge. Regarding sex toys, anything that alters the function of natural design of God is bad and is sinful. There are ways to make a good sex for married couples. It's one's responsibility to his/her partner. Besides, those toys are hygienically unsafe. It will pose danger to those using. We are humans, with intellect and creativity. Let us make use of those according to God's natural design.

I think it depends on how sex toys are being used. If you obviously used in in front of public then that's the time that I can say it's immoral. Those things should kept and use in private. I think people just think that it's immoral because of different beliefs. Sex is a sin IF it is done without marriage. I don't think that Catholic believes on that, I think it's when they do it, with marriage or not. Anyway, if sex is a sin so our parents are sinful??because they produce us. :Laugh:. It's not bad if people use it in proper place. ^^

I would not say every sex toys are immorals but i think some of them are immorals depending what they describe. And according to me, it's useless cause you can be satisfied with your partner without the need to have sex toys.

All I could say that we are responsible in everything that we are do.
We are all tempted and using sex toys is another form of temptation because it is a fleshly desire to satisfy your lust. That's why if possible we need to get married if we can't fight the temptation. Sex inside marriage is God's gift. It is right that it will give us pleasure but not all pleasure is good. You don't need a sex toy if you are married. Before I will end, I want to share this Bible verse that somehow related to the topic.

James 1:14-15 tells us, "Every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.​

Sex is a special need for human for pleasure and enjoyments. Sex is not an evil or culture spoiling tools, so sex toys are to make human to enjoy their sex when they feel that they are lonely enough and those who are without their partners.Sex toys is not immoral but a pleasure tools for human.

sex toys are a source of pleasure.of course if used in public its immoral but when somebody is using it for his/her own pleasure in a private place then why should it be immoral.i feel this way many sexual abuse could be put on check as people don't have to roam around to seek there prey and they can have plesure on their own.
