I believe that we are not safe anywhere. The internet can be just as bad as the real world.

I don't think we are safe. In fact, I think the internet is worse. With hacking and Not Allowed's, People lose a lot of money. Not just money, but personal privacy can be breached and there is access to private files. The internet can ruin someone's life, Just like in the real world outside of your home. We are never going to be 100% safe, There is always someone watching what you do either outside or online. Stay safe my friends.

The internet is a threat to ones privacy. Nothing goes un noticed. No matter what someone else has seen something that you thought was "private"

A lot of people use the internet as a safe haven. Unlike the real world, you can control your safety on the internet.

You said that the internet is a place where you can be safe. I countered that by stating, you are safe until someone decides to d/o/x you, swat you and then proceeds to (r)ape you in credit score etc.

I can say this, the internet is hell of a lot safer then the real world.

Internet: Hacks, viruses and shit that can just happen to your computer.
World: Get shot, have a kid, etc. etc. all the bad shit.

Real Life; You could get killed for acting however you want.

Oh d/o/x that makes sense. But the internet is a lot easier to manage. If you're smart about what you're doing, then none of those things can really happen. I mean address and number, I understand. But you have to be really careless to lose your ssn and credit card numbers to d/o/x's.
