Are you afraid of death?

I know many people who are afraid of death, some people live their lives to the fullest and that is great. I am personally not afraid of death for personal reason which I will not elaborate for the sole purpose of having an argument; something I don't want this thread to come to.

Are you afraid of death, does the thought get to you?

This is a shakey subject for me. I know that death isn't a bad thing so I am not afraid of it and I know it will come one day. But I am afraid how it will happen. I am a wreck less driver so that scares me everyday though I don't usually think about it. I could die any minute but I believe I am prepared for it. Of course I am not ready but if it happens it happens.

Death to me is only a gateway to the eternal life that I'm guaranteed by my beliefs. I understand not everybody believe, and I respect that, but death to me means waking up in the most amazing place in existence.

Everyone mostly wants to be remember by someone before death.

For me, yes i am scared.
But everyone takes the risk of dying everyday.

I wouldn't say I'm afraid of it. I'm not hoping for it though. As long as it's quick, I'll never even know.

I dont fear my own death, I fear the death of family members. I also fear the pain my loved ones would go through if I died. I dont believe that I would be conscious of their pain if I died, but thinking about it now, yeah it bothers me.

That aside, I actually look forward to death sometimes. If I didnt have those burdens on me that I mentioned before, I would be dead. I would kill myself. I have lots of reasons, but im being 100% honest. But I have a responisibility.

Death is a natural part of life, and I accept this. I do not fear death. I'll be ready for it whenever it comes. Whether it is tomorrow, a year from now, or 50 years from now. The way I think, I realize that I could be dead any second, which is why I cherish everyday life.

What I do fear, is how I will be remembered after I die. It crosses my mind a lot. Who would mourn my death? Who wouldn't? Who would be happy? All of these things are questions that I will never have answered, which is why I am so interested in them. I fear that I won't be remembered and will be forgotten, so I try to make an impact on as many people as possible.

No, I do not fear death. It's natural and you need to accept the fact you will die someday and once you do that. Life will be easier. Just need to live out your days the best you can, since the far as we know, you only live once so make it count. However, that being said. I do fear HOW I am going to die, I highly doubt anyone wants a painful, slow death or something in that nature. The ideal way I would like to die, when my time comes is in my sleep. Go to bed and just never wake up, would be like you are just sleeping forever and it would be fast and easy on you.

Death is certain. There's no reason to be afraid. It will happen. I just life my life the way I want and I don't give a fuck.

I'm just living my life. If it happens, it happens, as it is going to happen to us all no matter what. However, I would love to live to be a grandparent or travel the world, but i am excited to see the afterlife, though not necessarily the idea of "dying".

Personally I do not fear death in the sense of when it is my time it will happen. I would like to live as long as possible though

I can't bear the thought of living until 80 or 90 years old.
