They never specified he died, although it's almost impossible that he survived that cliff. Plus they could go for the approach of having "Robin" taking over the hood.

Lol, I'd not be too upset. and in the description for the next episode, it says something about laurel becoming the Black Canary, so maybe Rey will be the new arrow with his power suit

To be honest, none of the characters would fill his spot well enough. Oliver can really be the only hood in my mind, but I guess that's sort of up to the producers. Hopefully Oliver lives, #giveollyarevive
