Chill said:So hopefully I'm the first, what's the U.S Navy like?
So it sounds exactly like working on an oil rig, the longer you work there the better it becomes.Agony said:Ughh well. It's a hard slap to the balls is what it is. The Navy has it's ups and downs. At the moment, I can't say I enjoy it. The majority of what I currently do right now is clean things. My chain of command isn't the greatest, they seem very dull on their views of our division. They think very lowly of us. Not a lot of respect. The Navy is only good when you're no longer in it- when the veteran benefits come in.

Sad isn't it. What's the next role above cleaning?
May I ask what is the whole point of being in the navy, like what is the actual idea of it?Agony said:Well, the "real" work is when we are deployed, where my job is to move planes around and contain hazards in the hangar bay, while also practicing and knowing the knowledge to prevent fires from occuring on tbe ship.
I originally joined voluntarily to have free college when I'm out. Basically it. The idea of it is to simply have a job that no one else want's to do for 4-5 years and then get something out of it in the end.Chill said:May I ask what is the whole point of being in the navy, like what is the actual idea of it?
Do you get to fully fly them or just move them? When you're deployed what kind of tasks to you have to do?
So what you're doing right now is that voluntary?Agony said:I originally joined voluntarily to have free college when I'm out. Basically it. The idea of it is to simply have a job that no one else want's to do for 4-5 years and then get something out of it in the end.
The planes I just assit moving, directing them to where they need to be. Either parked or to take off. Basically like a plane valet.

Sounds cool, did you have to do cadets or the equivalent prior to joining?

Agony said:Back when I was 14-15 and a l33t sup3r awesome trickshotter on MW2 rolling with the tag "A Pwnda Bear" I saw someone with the gamertag "Day" and pretty much wanted to fit in and roll with the cool kids. So I googled Original Gamertags and found FK.
Package said:Did you ever try to make tags with random ass words from the dictionary?
I do this more for my own college, though that may sound selfish. I don't care much about politics in all honesty. Government, no matter what nation, always seems to be corrupt in one way or another. I joined the Navy for myself, to better my own life, not theirs.Shift said:Why do you fight for a military that makes politicians rich ?
Do you know what truly is going on ?
Bomb can khs this is a serious question

I joined when I googled original gamertags. I did not enjoy it as I was scammed $500 a few weeks after joining.Magnificent said:May I ask
How did you find Forum Korner, and did you enjoy your time when you first join?
