Attempted scam? very sketchy

I am pretty sure they tried to scam me but not 100% sure I'll let you guys decide.

I contact shedload as I was looking for a 3 char gamertag. He had only semi semi og tags so I didn't want them.

That's when his friend added me. His friend wanted to sell me gamertag "gd " for $7 which sounded sketchy. I asked him for his profile ID.  he then link me this profile: https://www.forumkorner.com/user-56821.html

I pm'ed tech asking him if he was dealing with me on kik. I then told shedloads friend to reply to the pm l. His friend then told him he was "hacked".

I then say that's fine we will use a middle man. he tells me that he will choose.  i tell him I can choose but only one from FK. He then says he doesn't know any off there but he knows someone that is trusted and guess who that is Shedload. 

I'm not saying they trying to scam just saying it's sketchy.

Aha thanks. I thought it was sketchy. Who sells 2 letter for $7.

I'm glad you brought up a mm to the discussion, you seem new, don't want to get scammed. The deal was all sketchy, I'm glad you didn't go through with it.
