I'm not very good at making things, but I put together an avatar.

Eh... It looks blurrier out of PS... I'll touch it up and then edit the thread. (I couldn't get a glossy effect to look good. =/

Not bad for a forum avatar.
I like the gloss and the lighting coming from the background.
I don't think that the scanlines are appropriate for this though.

I was just playing around, but the inspiration came to me.
