Award Suggestion

Am I the only one who is bothered that a lot of awards are gained by just paying for them?

I understand that awards are costly, and it's only right to make some money from them, and that's fine. But, for those who want money from these awards, can you atleast require something else as well?

award (noun)
: something (such as a prize) that is given to someone or something for being excellent or for doing something that is admired

I guess you can admire somebody for giving you money, but really?

I think all awards should require some type of prerequisite or way to earn it, and, if you wish to, also require money. It could be kind of like power+ in a sense.
If all awards are made like this, they will be rarer and more meaningful. Instead of, "oh, he just payed for that," or, "oh, anybody can get that."

Just what I think.

However, to do that @Philly would have to take away everyone's custom award, which would start a mini riot.

Remove everyone's custom award? Cause I don't think that's a factor at all. Everybody would keep their owned award, and everybody who has the award will keep the award. I was just thinking we could start applying a requirement now, not revert past earnings.

But, if people want to fix this for all time, I think the only thing is that we just have to remove the payable awards from the people who have them. Take a picture of all those users to keep track that they have payed for it, then grant them once they complete the prerequisite. However, I think this is a difficult task, and only should be done if people up for it.

I doubt this is going to happen, but I'm all for it. It could be a rule that would only affect the future, so people who have bought them could keep him, but I believe it would be the same as the 1:1 pp and koin rule that is avoided repeatedly.

I don't see this happening as its up to the award owner.

What's up to the award owner? To require something besides money? I really don't think that's a problem.

For real, everyone sells them. For example have you seen @trap 's awards? He has like 99 rows of them.

Most awards have a buy-in because people purchase the awards, and are looking for a profit.

I said there's nothing wrong with that. But they should also add another requirement.
