It's not a bad idea although when the new theme comes that's going to all change.

I think it would be better at the bottom for now. As Spark said, we shouldn't clutter up the menu up there.

If we were to start putting more stuff up there, then I'd suggest using a drop down menu.

Did you call me spark

and yes, I'd suggest a drop down menu named "Community Links" and it has like the ban page, awards, maybe the rules for quick access, ect.
