Bad feeling about this laptop...

I was originally going to get this laptop, as the specs are amazing, and MSI makes good motherboards. After reading reviews, and talking to a few other people, I am starting to doubt the quality of this laptop. A downside I don't like is that the keyboard isn't backlit. Don't like that for sure.

Another laptop I am looking at, as I like HP is this:

But I just want to know what is the best laptop, that I can game on, as well as other stuff, for $1.5k and I wont be dissapointed. I need it to be off of newegg, as I am getting 75% off of the price. Any suggestions? I might look at desktops as well, but I need a laptop really.

Depends, what type of gaming are you planning to do? Hardcore gaming like Crysis/COD/Skyrim or smaller games like RuneScape?

Just some BF3, CS:S, nothing major. I'm not a gfxfag. Just something that looks cool.

Well MSI does have a better graphic card. HP is 2inch bigger in screen size.



I would go with MSI, very well know company for making quality laptop at a great price/performance ratio.
