Banned Auths

I think we should have a sub-forum under 'RuneScape Botting Discussion', named "Banned Auths". It would be great, because all the banned auths would go in there, and no-one would have trouble finding auths that work.

I think people just shouldn't post auths publicly to see.

They should be kept to Elite's only and should be sent through PM's.

I also feel it is the responsibility of the auth giver to update people of when his auths are banned. A simple post in your auth dump thread will do the trick and that way everyone will know.

I make sure after I give out a working auth code I close the person's thread to stop spam but that is pretty irrelevant to this topic.

But, yeah, like said before, I just wish people would keep the dumps to Elites only. Obviously we cannot keep full control over it, but the effort is always appreciated.

Adding a sub-section for banned auths would just add unnecessary clutter. If auth dumps are posted in the regular botting section, they could always be trashed after they are banned.

Maybe we could create a database where we could store known auths that were banned or not working. That would users could simply do a search with their acquired auth in the database to check. Not really needed though, I agree with copper but I wouldn't mind seeing it happen.

You could just edit the title of the thread with a tag in it saying "[Banned]" ?

At the end of the day, it is thanks to the generosity of the dumpers that we have the auths. So I think it should be PM only :thumbsup:

Why a section for banned auths if no one would be able to use them? I see where you're going but wouldn't deleting the auths from the post or junking the thread be more appropriate?
