Why does rep from banned members still count? I think that rep (Neg or Positive) from banned members should be taken off because their accounts are no longer on fk.

Good idea, we can't even see a persons rep when they are banned, so why should their rep stay on our profile?

Lol nope. I think it's rediculous that I can't even quote members on mobile version, AND I can't even edit posts because I'm a regular member, that does NOT make me want to upgrade lol.

Ask Philly to remove the rep. He removed the negative rep Kev gave me.

I don't have any rep from banned members I was just saying, that I think rep from banned members shouldn't count.

No because if you got a positive saying like "Guy is legit" why would you want that removed. Just because he got banned doesnt mean the rep isnt relevant anymore.

But he's no longer on the site so his opinion of the person isn't valid.

Honestly if someone's banned all their rep should be removed, whether green or red.

But when he was on the site it was valid. Say if theres a rep saying "Scammer" and then he gets banned, does that mean the person isnt a scammer anymore?

If you're banned and you gave rep to someone it should be taken away if you rep someone saying they are a scammer they have no proof. IF they actually were a scammer they should be banned also. Also canceling out his rep.

Still it just doesnt make sense. Like if I said " your a great person " and I get banned, it doesnt mean their not a great person anymore so the rep should be removed.

Plus not to mention the staff would have to go through the rep 1 by 1 and delete them.

It would just be the perm banned people. Also they would just delete the entire account. They are not associated with fk anymore so it shouldn't matter what they say.

He wasn't even talking to you, chill out with the posts.

OT; I think this is a good suggestion.

Technically speaking their account still remains on ForumKorner, if a members account is merged then the reputation will be removed. Consult with a Staff member to have it removed rather than opening up a thread.

Anyone can simply write that, that's why we use vouch threads to vouch that a certain user has done a deal.

The reputation system is disabled for banned members.

What if that person was your friend and he had repped you? What if that person vouched for you and had a link or a screenshot of a deal you'd done?

Consulting with a Staff member about the removal of reputation is the best way.

It's perfectly "Valid". If that was your only rep from the first legit deal you'd made here, would you want it removed?

Nowhere in the rules does it say you have to upgrade, if you scroll to the bottom of the page in mobile version you will see a link that says "Full Version". Use that if you are in need of quoting posts.

Regardless of if he vouched/repped you, I think it should just be removed. If they aren't on the site from being banned then a vouch from them isn't worth much to be honest.

What happens if the user get's banned forever and then someone lifts the ban, will all the removed rep suddenly add back?

No it's gone forever. If someone's unbanned then they are just lucky for being back, but temporary suspensions shouldn't have their rep removed.
