Would you rather have a great friend you're attracted to, but never have sex with this person; or would you like a sex partner that you share very little in common with?

I would rather have a great friend. I am currently married so the other wouldn't be an option. However even if I wasn' t married I would still pick the great friend.

It depends on your mutual understanding between your relationship as friends. I have friends that are really adorable and finds herself very mutual to me, we had sex eventhough we're only friends. We had sex for years and we still friends up until now.

I know it doesn't feel right but the urge of having sex is always present.

Okay, seriously, I have a really good friend, but friendship always comes with some sexual affection! I see that she thinks she's more than a friend for me and I know that she also knows that I don't exactly treat her like "just" a friend! It is a common "extra" feeling we get everytime we meet. We greet each other with 2 pecks and we always end up kissing when we leave... It is really hard to decide, what we are, but I thought this was a nice example how things going with girl-boy friendship. :balloon:

Well, I think that there's absolutely nothing wrong with friends with benefits. However, the other one could lead to all sorts of problems. I've seen friends get into trouble with that one.

If I am to forced to choose one, then I'd choose Great Friend any day. Friendships are more stronger and longer lasting, benefits usually complicates things.

Wohoo you bring very interesting debate with or without its very hard to answer but let me take into consideration in both ways. If friend (for me its definitely a girl because I am not gay) is ready to die for you but don't want to allow you sex even than I am not ready to live with her why because its natural law we both need to interact via sex too but I am not ready to live with that whom I use for sex only. So if there is love between us than it must be fulfill our all needs.

well i would prefer a good friend.i can't feel have to sex with a person whom i am not mentally connected.i think it takes a lot of time to understand each other.a one night stand doesn't work for me.i can not disclose myself in front of someone whom i don't even know.
