well for me, ESET Smart Security Tops the best. You know what, i can update offline and online. I can download the update and update my antivirus. ESET is good. And also Avast Antivirus, its good, i tried it and Avast blocked malicious sites that why i love it.

I personally use and recommend Microsoft Security Essentials. It is totally free for genuine users of Windows XP, Vista, 7. It is a good antivirus based on my experience, won't slow down your personal computer, has regular updates and really fast scans.
So if you are a home user, this one is for you. Of course, there are also a lot of good antivirus in the market such as Kaspersky and ESET, but you'll pay for the licenses. In any way, it's still your preference.
