Best free Antivirus?

I am currently using AVG.
Is it good?
Opinions are appreciated. Please if you can, recommend others that are 'better'

NOOOO avg is by far the worst. Use Spybot SnD, philly suggests avira which is not bad either

i find AVG the best, norton works well just slows your computer down

Malware Bytes is the probably the best free one.
