So I've heard that there are a few different types of internet tablets on the market right now
Here are some I know:
Archos
Apad
Viewsonic Tablet
iPad
Playbook
Samsung Galaxy Tab
Motorola Xoom

Which do you reckon is the best? According to dvice, Motorola Xoom is better than the iPad comparing battery life, price, features...

iPad started the hype so I may have a bias toward this Apple product. I'm not familiar with the other brands.

WELLL... at first i wanted a ipad 2 or whatever shit it was called but now that i acually started gaining some knoledge on all the tablets i think the best would be the motorola xoom altough the ipad does have a REALLYYYYY wide selection for apps over the motorola xoom i think the MX would run better and i think maybe just a better quality product my second choice would be the samsung galaxy

The Xoom is good but it's not optimized properly, so you'll experience lag at times, especially when viewing flash content.

Android hasn't optimized their OS to fit the Xoom and vice versa.

Where-as the iPad 2's iOS is optimized for the hardware so you're assured the best experience all the time. I would say the iPad 2 is the best bet, cuz keep in mind, it's a TABLET, not a COMPUTER, so it doesn't have to necessarily do all of your computing. I have the 1st gen iPad and love mine I use it daily

I know the motorola one is pretty badass. And I've been looking forward to Playbook.

The Winpad is by far the best table for internet content.

I played with the Motorola Xoom for a while, I have to say it is one of the most impressive tablets I have ever used.

RIM Playbook running QNX is a great tablet. It has solid hardware, great build quality and a initiutive GUI, however it's only available in 7" which to me is too small.

The iPad 2 is a great tablet however lacks a tablet centric OS though with 65.000 + tablet centric applications the iOS platform surely lies a step ahead of Android

The release of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1" is in June I believe, this tablet focuses on enhancing the android experience. It has solid build quality, solid hardware and a beautiful 10.1" IPS Display. With Honeycomb powering the tablet this is the first real iPad challenger and the only tablet I am thinking of purchasing.

If you want to lower your price points tablets such as the Archos, Acer Iconia and Nook Color will be great. Though Nook Color may be slower then the other two the dev support is simply amazing and allows you to tinker the device to the extent where it becames state of the art in terms of user experience.

I don't own any, but I've had a good experience with my iTouch leading me to the conclusion that the iPad will probably be epic too.

I've seen advertisements for the Motorola XOOM, and it seems fairly decent too compared to most of the others out there.

I am a hardcore apple lover, but I must say that I would go with the Xoom here.

Xoom is a POS. It lacks functionality and has a lot of bugs, it's a laughable attempt at a full fledged tablet.
