Best Pure?/Hybrid

What do you think is the best pure/hybrid? I think Mage.

I used to think Range but I'vekilled more ranges with pure mage than i've killed rangers with range
 
Range is pro, I love making range pures, they wreck shit imo.
 
Range lvls up slower than mage, not really sure why

For example I'm lvl 35 and 53 mage and some range pures have lower range than my mage.

It's always been like that, it's because (I think) mage is sightly overpowered at lower levels.
 
It's not overpowered. People who say things are overpowered are just raging that it hits hard. JaGeX clearly has their own reasons for putting it like that, most likely because of the fact we are slow.
 
Mage is actually the dominant pure at levels 3-20 though. hitting 10s at level 13 is bs.
 
Range pures. I've never seen a mage pure pking. That's retarded. Unless you're talking about f2p. Than idk, i'm not poor and i can afford members.
 
It's really not about being poor that people aren't members.. People who brag about their money are more retarded.

And considering you just said you don't see mages pking is also retarded, considering whereever you look you can find someone ice barraging.

Unless you're talking about multi. Then idk, because I'm man enough to venture by myself.
 
I've never seen a pure mager pk. Maybe like levels 3-28. That's it. Pure maging in f2p fails unless you have a mob walking around with you. Maging in p2p is only good because of the freezing effects or the hp stealing. Other than that range and melee wrecks mage.
 
Yeah but you say it fails in f2p unless you have a mob, while that's the main way people PK in f2p, though Edge is filled as well.
 
A mod, like a player mod? How would that help you?
 
I'm actually in the process of hybridding my pure mage with str as well.. and eventually will get attack in it.

I saw a high lvl mage ( had one form of the ice thing ) and then took out a ddp+ or whatever it was and koed someone. It was awesome
 
you can't be a hybrid with out mage lol.

if you say melee and range.. thats called tanking.
 
You can't ko with range in f2p.. by itself
 
can someone give me an example of the best one? Range 2h is so overused and it looks like Carbon is a pro with his Range/Def/Prayer tank
