Best software for gaming forum

Which forum software is the best for a gaming forum? I am currently on SMF, but am looking to convert soon

Well any forum software is good for a gaming forum it just depends what you put into it. i recommend IPB but it does not come cheaply nether does invision powerboard but you get what you pay for.

you could always use mybb which is a very good free forum software i recommend that if your not looking to pay some money.

I would say Zone 8 is right you can use any type of software which you like, It just depends on what content you add and how effectively you promote it.
