Hey

I recently got scammed $20 by someone I thought trusted but seemed not (Virtual Reality).
I was gong to invest with him, instead he just ran away like most people in the market world.
I know it's not much compared too some people but too me, that is fairly big amount at the moment.
Post your biggest amount of money scammed here and tell us who.

Does having a kid count as getting scammed?

Depends? Did you want the kid, or did you forget to use a wrapper? I think it would count as getting scammed if you didn't want it :cool2:
OT: I see that my money scammed is nothing too the amount that some people have been scammed out of.
Also IRL, I have been scammed over $500 from my old friend. Wanted to buy a Runescape account. It was lvl 3 everything.... He left school the next day.

A year ago, I was scammed out of 500 USD. To make matters worse, the culpret was a childhood friend.

We used to be partners for internet marketing and he sort of led me into the ground. He had his share, which was about 6,000 USD, coming in at the end of the month and I had about 500 USD because I wasn't very experienced at the time. Regardless, he sent me the following E-Mail as an explanation for why he didn't send me my cut, since he owned the account. He forwarded me the E-Mail he supposedly received from the Publisher Network. He mentioned that as a result, he didn't get his cut either. He didn't seem very upset which led me to believe he was lying. To this day I don't speak to him because of that. I'm looking for an unbiased input. I've considered contacting the company to find out but truth be told, our means of monetizing weren't very 'whitehat'. Do you guys think this website would write an E-Mail like the following, not to mention the multitude of spelling mistakes.

Well just by looking at that e-mail, it shouldn't be that hard to know who the culprit really is. I don't if the e-mail could have been typed by the company, two reasons why it could have been though:
1. He was an illiterate.
2. Rarely knows any English but highly unlikely.
Sorry for your loss of money. It shows me that the amount that I have loss is nothing.

I appreciate your sympathy. Regardless, it kills me that I didn't put my foot down when this happened. It'd be too late now and I'd just look like an idiot.
